My Journey

How it started

I often say the holistic path chose me long before I chose it. As a child, I was already scribbling “mind, body, soul” into my art books without fully understanding why, only knowing it mattered. I always knew I wanted to be a Naturopath, as there was an undeniable pull towards plants, health, the earth, spirituality and supporting people in their health. From a young age, I carried a deep inner knowing that health was more than pills, hospitals or simply suppressing symptoms and that true healing lives in the connection between the mind, body and spirit. Most of my spare time was spent googling and watching YouTube videos to understand these connections and learn how I can improve my health.

Earthmade Naturopathy was born from this calling.

Behind the name

Rooted in both science and tradition, my practice is guided by a deep reverence for the earth’s rhythms, including its seasons, OUR inner seasons and the innate wisdom of our bodies. This understanding has shaped not only how I practice, but how I live.

I also have a lifelong love for creating. Since childhood, I’ve found joy in working with my hands. Candle making, macramé, sewing, drawing, poetry and now herbal medicine. Making balms, creams and infused oils is more than a craft, it’s my way of reconnecting with nature’s wisdom and switching off from the noise of the world.

My vision is to expand Earthmade Naturopathy into something tangible, a space where women can come together to learn, heal and reconnect. Think herbal products, workshops, courses and immersive programs designed to guide women back to their bodies, their intuition and the medicine that has always been within reach.

This is why I do what I do.

I love guiding women back home to their bodies, helping them understand their symptoms, honour their cycles and feel informed, empowered and deeply supported in their health.

My health journey

While I’m grateful to have avoided any major diagnoses, my own health journey has been far from linear. I’ve navigated chronic tonsillitis, heavy and painful periods, PMS, vaginal infections, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, depression, burnout and PTSD. I’ve also lived the realities of yo-yo dieting, body image struggles and self-confidence challenges, experiences that now deeply inform the way I support my clients.

Like many, my late teens and early twenties were spent partying hard. I started drinking at 15 and lived for the weekend from 18 to 25. Since then, I have come to realise it wasn't the drinking that I enjoyed but the socialising and dancing that I craved. I now hardly drink and find joy in dancing at home and going to ecstatic dance events where I can let my hair down (without alcohol).

For eight years, I was vegan and genuinely believed it was the cure for everything. While it taught me a lot, I now know that balance and individuality are key, and that cutting out major food groups isn’t sustainable or supportive for most people.

Studying Naturopathy

I began university at 30, and I don’t regret starting later for a moment. Living life first gave me perspective, depth and compassion that no textbook could ever teach. However, it was during my degree that my love for herbal medicine truly deepened. I became fascinated by the way herbal medicine works, not by isolating single compounds to force a specific outcome, but by harnessing the synergy of whole plants to support the body’s natural healing processes.

Herbal medicine works with the body, gently recalibrating and restoring balance rather than overriding it. It nourishes, strengthens and supports the body’s innate ability to heal, addressing not just symptoms, but the root cause of imbalance.

Through my own health challenges and my clinical experience as a Naturopath, I’ve learned that healing is never linear. It requires time, consistency, patience and support from practitioners who truly understand the mind ~ body ~ spirit connection.

On a deeper level

I’m forever evolving and deeply curious. My path has led me through yoga, breathwork, tantra, somatics, shamanism, embodiment practices, and plant medicine. These modalities and tools are thoughtfully weaved into my work to support healing on a deeper, more embodied level.

Astrology and human design have also been powerful mirrors for me (Libra sun, Leo moon, Pisces rising and a Projector) and has helped me better understand my energy, rhythms and how I move through life.

I’m at my best when I’m creating and fully expressed: making herbal remedies, writing poetry, dancing, creating content or dressing up for events where nothing is ever too much (hello, Leo moon!)

Born and raised on the Gold Coast, I’m deeply grateful for my roots here, though I'm definitely being called for something slower and less busy...

At the heart of everything, I’m a woman doing the work, healing my maternal and ancestral line. It’s messy, uncomfortable and deeply transformative and I’m grateful to be the one with the capacity to feel, process and release what no longer serves.
